Hotkeys:

. Key or combination of keys which provides quick access to particular function.
. Gmail Hotkeys can be used only after turning on keyboard short keys as follows:
  -> Go to settings
  -> Select keyboard Shortkeys
  -> Turn ON
  -> Save changes
. Using hotkeys in gmail saves lot of time 
. Commonly used shortcuts are: 
  C for Compose
  R for Reply etc
